The Dutch Business Council organises a Maritime event on 15 December with key speakers from Nakilat Damen Shipyards Qatar (NDSQ).
Rino Brugge and Wolter ten Bokkel Huinink, both working for NDSQ, will give a presentation about their company. During this presentation they will make a small travel through time. They will highlight the past, present and the future of the joint venture between the Qatar Gas Transport Company, called Nakilat, and the Dutch shipbuilding company, Damen Shipyards. Current projects will be shown and future opportunties will be discussed.
Mr. Rino Brugge has over 15 years experience in Project management and procurement in Defence and marine industries, with international exposure in Europe, Africa and Asia. After various roles within the Damen Group, he worked and lived in Singapore as a Project manager for High Speed Crafts and Fast Ferries. His previous role within Damen was overall Program Manager of three SIGMA Class Multi Mission Frigates for the Royal Moroccan Navy.
Mr. Wolter ten Bokkel Huinink, who has a Master of Science in Naval Architecture, has fullfilled since 2002 various roles at Damen Shipyards, both in new building as in ship repair. He was based in Bergum, Schiedam and relocated to Qatar at the beginning of 2011. Previously working at NDSQ as Manager Production Support, but currently as Project Manager.
